Operator XR was formed by a passionate group of special forces soldiers and specialized engineers with a deep understanding of operational environments and complexities.
Operator XR systems enable Military personnel and Law Enforcement Officers to train operational tactics and procedures within a portable, virtual reality environment.
Complimenting existing training methods, the virtual reality system allows end users to train more often, leading to increased preparedness across a broad range of scenarios centred on de-escalation tactics, use of force decision making, and operational procedures.
The system has been developed in house from the ground up, using the latest innovations in immersive technology.

Our team consists of a unique combination of people with expertise across special operations, tactical response, law enforcement, game design, software & hardware engineering, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
Over 25% of our company are veterans with many years of front line experience on the battlefield. Others in the team have worked as former police and corrections officers. This gives us unique insight into what is important for our end users.
The engineering, sales and marketing team team is rapidly growing across the US and Australia.
OUR PURPOSE

Military, police, security guards, and similar tactical populations are required routinely to carry firearms with the potential to utilise them in spontaneous use-of-force actions. These use of-force actions can result in fatal consequences, but are rarely executed, and only in response to an individual’s perception of an imminent threat.
Virtual Reality as a technology has never successfully worked in operator training or mission planning. Systems are overly complex, not portable, with no integration into the soldiers own equipment. This leads to poor training outcomes.
Operator XR was created to address these challenges and realise the benefits of immersive technology combined with real world operational experience.
